The SmartLink Remote Diagnostics System is a newly developed powerful service system dedicated to remote vehicle diagnosis and service. In this system, SmartLink B (Business), as a SmartLink Service Provider, can accept remote repair orders issued by SmartLink C users via SmartLink Service Platform. The SmartLink B applies to vehicles that comply with CAN\/ DoIP\/ CAN FD\/ J2534 diagnostic protocol standard.<\/p>\n

The SmartLink B system consists of the following two parts:<\/p>\n

  • SmartLink Service Platform<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>\u2013 For binding the SmartLink B dongles and accepting the remote repair orders.<\/li>\n
  • SmartLink B Dongle<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>\u2013 Works with the compatible diagnostic tool to perform diagnosis of the vehicle connected to the SmartLink C dongle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Launch X431 SmartLink B Management Modes:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

          The service provider can select ONE of the two Management Modes:<\/p>\n

          The service provider manages the Smartlink C account status of the customer.<\/p>\n

          The service provider can activate the Smartlink C under his own account and manage the Smartlink C (post remote diagnosis request, license renewal) for the customer.<\/p>\n

          The customer doesn\u2019t need to do anything on the platform, he just needs to contact the service provider and connect the Smartlink C hardware to the vehicle.<\/p>\n

          The customer manages the Smartlink C account status himself.<\/p>\n

          The customer can register his own user account on the SRDs platform and manage the Smartlink C (post remote diagnosis request, license renewal) himself.<\/p>\n

          The service provider can \u201cPre-bind\u201d the customer\u2019s Smartlink C, after \u201cPre-bind\u201d, the customer\u2019s request can only be seen by this service provider. No worry about other provider taking the customer.<\/p>\n

          NOTE: Each Smartlink can be activated only in one account.<\/strong><\/p>\n

          How to Activate SmartLink B Remote Diagnosis?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

          Main steps:<\/p>\n

          Register->Log in->Accept remote diagnostic request<\/p>\n

          *In order to ensure the connection performance, we recommend 100M network bandwidth with upload\/download speed no less than 10mbps<\/p>\n

          1)Register on \u201cLaunch Super Remote Diagnosis reservation platform\u201d by link\u201d http:\/\/smartlink.x431.com\/login \u201c.<\/p>\n

          Input your email address and click \u201cGet verification code\u201d, platform will send the verification code to your email box. \u201cProduct Serial Number\u201d and \u201cActivation code\u201d are pasted as \u201cS\/N\u201d and<\/p>\n

          \u201cA\/C\u201d on the rear side of Smartlink C device.<\/p>\n

          2)If you registered successfully, you can log in to the platform:<\/p>\n

          If you have more Smartlink devices, you can click \u201cAdd a device\u201d on this page, and then input product serial number and activation code<\/span><\/p>\n

          3)Now, you will find many requests on the platform. You can check the request details and\u00a0accept one that you can fix.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

          Remote Diagnosis Mode:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          SmartlinkB_xxxxxx: it means you will use Smartlink B to take remote the client vehicle.<\/p>\n

          J2534 Remote diagnosis: it means you have installed OEM software and Launch Tech J2534 driver on your PC. You will take remote by J2534 protocol.<\/p>\n

          4): After you accept a request, you will get client contact information. You have to contact the client and guide them to fix the issue.<\/p>\n
