1. The firmware is the same as 1.38 and 1.42<\/strong>. It cannot be upgraded<\/strong>. If you click Upgrade, the firmware will lock the machine and only the software can be upgraded<\/strong>. The new version is compatible with firmware versions 1.38 and 1.42.<\/p>\n

2. If you bought 1.38 before, you can buy a 1.42 dongle + software upgrade<\/strong>, install the new 1.42 software and plug in the dongle to use it.<\/p>\n

3. 1.42 software supports more models than 1.38 software and requires more licenses.<\/p>\n

4. The dongle can only be used with version 1.42<\/strong>. It can also be used after upgrading version 1.38 to version 1.42<\/strong><\/p>\n
