Recently, our customers feedback the problem of wiTech MicroPod register problem. The warning massage \u201cDevice with serial number XXXXXX is not registered. Please check the knowledge base to determine how to register a device\u2026\u201d pop-up when run the\u00a0<\/span>Chrysler WiTech MicroPod 2<\/a>\u00a0software.So here,\u00a0VXDAS<\/span>\u00a0engineer share the solution of this problem.<\/span><\/p>\n

wiTech MicroPod 2 Software Register Error:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Registration is needed <\/span><\/p>\n

Device with serial number XXXXXX is not registered. Please check the knowledge base to determine how to register a device\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

VXDAS Engineer Solution:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Step1 <\/strong>Right click wiTech Diagnostic Application–> Properties–>Open file loaction<\/p>\n

Step2\u00a0<\/strong>C:\/Program Files (x86)\/DCC Tools\/wiTECH\/client, and then Open app-config text file<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Step3\u00a0<\/strong>Change the first number to any value marked red above.<\/p>\n

\u00a0i.e change 6 to other numbers, 1-9<\/p>\n

Then save the text file. (Very important !)<\/p>\n

\"Open<\/span><\/p>\n

Step4\u00a0<\/strong>Run wiTECH Micropod 2 sofwtare again <\/span><\/p>\n

If witech still prompts error” an internal registration error has occurred”, just ignore by clicking no icon to close it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Problem sovled<\/span><\/p>\n

Then tick “Offline” on the bottom left corner (Not need to Login)<\/span><\/p>\n
